Biography

1945 Born Gloucester 1957-63 Educated at Sir Thomas Rich’s Grammar School, Gloucester. 1963-67 Studied at Gloucestershire College of Art, Cheltenham. Obtained Dip A.D. Fine Art (Painting) 1967-70 Studied at the Royal College of Art, London. Received M.A (R.C.A) Painting. 1971 Married and lived at Paradise, near Painswick, Gloucestershire. 1972 Appointed Full-time lecturer in the Department of Graphic Design at Newport College of Art (now known as University of Wales College Newport) 1995 Took early retirement to resume painting full-time 2009 Moved back to Gloucestershire
